Charleston, SC, July 29, 2009 – Musicorp, a leading national distributor of musical instruments, accessories and lighting products, instructed a drum clinic co-sponsored by Remo and Sabian. Presented by PC Sound, a music retail store based in Greenville, NC, the drum clinic took place in-store on June 22nd from 7pm-10pm.
With approximately 50 people in attendance, Musicorp Sales Rep Rick Murray performed and demonstrated with tracks on a drum set. Rick held a tuning session, demonstrated Sabian’s new products, and explained the advantages of Sabian and Remo. Murray also spoke on the importance of obtaining a private drum instructor with time spent on questions and answers at the conclusion of the clinic. Another drum clinic is being scheduled for this November.
During the drum clinic, Sabian contributed a drum mute and a Sabian XS20 for giveaway, along with Sabian t-shirts, hats, literature, banners and posters. Remo provided new black suede packs for giveaway as well literature and Remo drumheads for the purpose of demonstrating.
