Charleston, SC, February 3, 2010 – Musicorp, a leading distributor and manufacturer of musical instruments, lighting products and accessories, donated several guitars to a new music education guitar program at Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary (ARCAE) in West Ashley, South Carolina on January 28th, 2010.

After receiving the donated guitars, Daun Stuart, Guitar Teacher at ARCAE stated, "Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary would like to thank Musicorp for the generous guitar donation! Many of our students can't afford one, so this will help us tremendously! Thank you!” This is a new music education guitar program for ARCAE and Musicorp was happy to donate several guitars to the children participating that did not have a guitar.

Dan Roberts, Musicorp’s VP of Sales stated, “We always strive to support music education and are happy to donate guitars to children eager to learn how to play.”

Ashley River Creative Arts Elementary applies the philosophy that children learn best when taught through the collaboration with the arts. This type of teaching not only enhances the process of learning, but it also promotes lifelong creativity and learning. All ARCAE students participate in visual arts, music, physical education, drama and Spanish classes.
